I'm pregnant. Can I still take class?
The safety of you and your baby comes first — so we're going to be straight with you.
Every ONYX class is heated. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advises against heated exercise during pregnancy, including hot Pilates, because of the risk of overheating. That guidance exists for good reason, and we're not going to talk around it.
Talk to your doctor. They know your pregnancy, and their answer is the one that matters. If they don't clear you for heated exercise, we completely understand — and we'll work with you on holding your credits or pausing your membership until you're ready to come back. Just email your home studio for extended pause options.
If your doctor does clear you and you're already an established ONYX member, let your coach know before class so we can modify as needed. Pregnancy isn't the time to try heated reformer for the first time.
When you're ready to return postpartum, we'll be here. Get your provider's clearance, tell your coach where you're at, and we'll build you back up.
